HENRICO COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT – Henrico County determined that a new precinct was needed in the northcentral section of the County due to an increase in crime in that area in the previous decade. EMPIRE DEVELOPMENT had assisted with the development of the Fair Oaks Precinct in 2005 and was familiar with the Department’s needs. EMPIRE submitted an Unsolicited PPEA to construct the project and was awarded the contract in September, 2014.
STARBUCKS IN GHENT – EMPIRE DEVELOPMENT assisted Grand C Corporation with the design and construction of a new Starbucks Restaurant in Norfolk, Virginia. The new restaurant included a drive thru and outdoor seating.
ASHLEY CAPITAL is a nationwide owner of industrial property based in New York City. Ashley has engaged the services of EMPIRE DEVELOPMENT to act as Landlord’s Representative for the development / redevelopment and Tenant fit-up of properties in the Hampton Roads Region. EMPIRE’s largest project to date with Ashley was the development of the 168,000 square Foot Indian River Distribution Center in Chesapeake, VA.
LIBERTY PLAZA– Richmond, VA This project was a speculative office building designed to capture the high profile tenants seeking space in the fast growing Innsbrook Corporate Center. The building was leased during construction to Capital One and UNUM Insurance.
VIRGINIA COMMERCIAL SPACE FLIGHT AUTHORITY (VCSFA) has dramatically increased their operating tempo at the Wallops Island Launch Facility. VCSFA occupied several buildings in the region and needed to consolidate their space in secure facility. WING Partners, LLC, an EMPIRE DEVELOPMENT related entity, executed a long term lease with VCSFA and assisted them with several security and operational upgrades to the facility.
